Davide Morando was born in Tortona in 1994 and is based in Milan.
He directed Gli Atomici Fotonici, The True Story of the World’s Biggest Game of Hide-and-Seek, Ultraveloci and Rasti. Together, the four short films have screened at more than 150 festivals in Italy and abroad. The True Story of the World’s Biggest Game of Hide-and-Seek was a finalist at the 2022 Globo d’Oro; Ultraveloci was selected by Show Me Shorts and Bengaluru International Short Film Festival, both Oscar®-qualifying; Gli Atomici Fotonici has screened at more than fifty festivals; Rasti at more than thirty.
As an editor, he has worked on short and feature films as well as productions for Netflix, Prime Video and Sky, including LOL Italia and Physical Italia: da 100 a 1. He previously edited trailers and promos for Viacom, Paramount Network, MTV and Comedy Central. In 2017 he received a PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards nomination in the Best Trailer Made for Television category.
He coordinates the film course, under the artistic supervision of Silvio Soldini.
